Brief Biographical Sketch:

Sabah is very passionate about all things related to feminism, human rights, environmentalism, service and politics. She has served as a Teen Advisor for Girl Up, a campaign by the United Nations, and currently co-leads the Girl Up Chicago Coalition. Sabah is also involved with the and is a lead organizer at the Chicago Students Union and has organized walk-outs and rallies against current CPS budget cuts. Being an activist, you can find Sabah attending rallies against corporate control of education, lobbying for refugee girls education in developing countries and diligently following up with politics. She is also part of the Junior Economic Youth Council with Chicago's treasurer Kurt Summers and is a member of the Junior Economic Club of Chicago. Sabah is also part of the outreach team for ProjectCSGirl and part of the National Youth Council. She serves as the Midwest Regional Director for the Campaign for a Presidential Youth Council and has co-founded Link Scholars, an organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged middle school students in Chicago. In school, Sabah is involved in and holds officer positions in JSA, buildOn, Chem club, STARS mentors, GEMS and Girl Up!
