Ripple

Ripple is now over. Thanks so much to all of you who came out and made Ripple happen!

Ripple is a conference that explores the role of creativity in urban education, as well as other topics related to teaching practice and education policy. While Splash! and Cascade! are opportunities for University of Chicago students and high school students to teach and learn and do education, Ripple is an opportunity for students and others to think about teaching, education policy, and the philosophy of education.

Ripple will be held on Saturday, April 24th 2010, in Ida Noyes Hall at the University of Chicago (1212 E. 59th Street) starting at 9 AM. The conference will consist of an introductory panel, lunch, a series of workshops with opportunities for conversations, and a concluding keynote speech. It is free to attend (including breakfast and lunch) and open to anyone, but you have to sign up. We will allow you to sign up at the program on the 24th, but we would much prefer it if you sign up now, on this site. Online sign up will close Friday the 23rd at 7 PM... if you want to sign up after that, just come to Ripple on Saturday.
