Brief Biographical Sketch:
My name is Gabrielle Prato I am currently a junior at Loyola University Chicago pursuing a degree in Political Science and Communications with the intent of establishing a career as working at a PR firm or a broadcast anchor. Last year, my freshman year of college, I worked as a writer for the Loyola Phoenix, a student published newspaper and gained much insight and experience in journalism. Styles I am most familiar with are interview and freelance. This past year, I have worked for an online entertainment magazine called Lumino, which I wrote concert reviews and an online column entitled City Diaries" which has become emblematic of a collegiate "Sex and the City" and features a facetious look at love and romance. I have earned various accolades over the course of my academic career including recognition from High School Scholar Programs such as National Honor Society, Who's Who Among American High School Students and the National Society of High School Scholars to name a few. My junior year of high school I was allowed the opportunity to study a summer at Princeton University in New Jersey through an organization called Junior Statesmen of America. There I was able to complete a United States history course for Advanced Placement credit. I look forward to working with Splash and imparting some new knowledge onto my students!
