A1263: Longform Improv in Cascade! Winter 2014 (Jan. 28, 2014)
Harold. Armando. Follow the Leaver. 5-4-3-2-1. In this class, you will collaborate with your peers to make up stories. We will learn some of the standard structures of Longform Improv, and the tools of the trade for putting together longer improvisational stories. This class will focus on developing a tightly knit group of improvisers, who together are able to construct longer, impromptu narratives. Sometimes there will be improv monologues, sometimes there will be music, and sometimes there will be notes of seriousness, but the common thread is working together to make up stories as you go.

A1254: Intro to Improv in Cascade! Fall 2013 (Oct. 22, 2013)
We make things up. On the spot. I will prepare. You will not. Improv comedy is one of the most exhilarating and rewarding forms of performance, and doesn't require nearly the same amount of hand eye coordination as salsa dancing. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of improv, many of the more common games that improv troops play in performances, and fingers crossed, perform a whole show of your own at the end of the 5 week session. Friends will be made. And fun will be had by the bucketful. That is all.
