With all of the buzz about the ABC conjecture and twin prime conjecture, I'm sure you've heard something along the lines of "internet security is based on the difficulty of factoring large primes." Enroll in this class to find out why this is true! Class begins with an introduction to modular arithmetic (including a hands on demonstration of Fermat's little theorem), then transitions to encryption methods, and ends with the difficulty of decrypting said methods.
